Why am i only starrting to see buds forming at the beggingimg of week 3

it takes some time to start flowering some strains will do it before some later. this is all because during the night the plants starts to make a light sensitive hormone and with 12/12 light being longer nights this starts to accumulate slowly and triggers flowering. i personally give my plants 2-4 days of full dark before switching to 12/12 this allows the plant to make this hormone undisturbed by light thus reducing the "stretch period".

Blue Ice OG - LowTemps = Color Change I am currently growing Blue Ice OG from seedsman. Seedsman advertises that this strain can develop shades of dark blue and purple colors if it is exposed to nights below 12°C(54°F). My question is, when during the grow cycle would you do this?

Any THC in Tiny Premature Buds on Dying Plant?I've lost a plant to what I think is root rot. I'm only four weeks into flowering and the buds are just little balls about the diameter of a penny. If I dry these buds when I take it down, do you think it will have enough THC to get any effect at all if I try to smoke them?

Didn't notice smell before drying. Possible bud rot? Was humid, so put in dryer for extra 24 hours until stems broke.I noticed 1 bud that smells bad. It literally smells like a mothball. Loud, chemically(it's a Chemdog cross) and offensive. Opened bud, but I don't see any mold with the naked eye and don't have a micro yet. Should I just throw it or the plant away? I'm not sure what to do...
