What should my VPD be for a grand daddy Purple seedling that hasn't developed its cotyledons yet? Currently am hovering around 0.8 to 0.95. Temp around 75/76 F and RH around 68/69%. As far as I understand it, GDP seedlings need the RH to be between 60 and 70 %.

What you have it at sounds perfect. GDP loves humidity, even when flowering. When i pop new GDP seeds, my environment is usually 75F and 60% humidity. They grow just fine and i don't really feel like i need to change it. With this cultivar, i like to drop temperature with humidity during flower. The last week of flower i try to have my temperature at low 70s during lights on and low 60s during lights off with a RH of around 20%-30%. Just my personal preference, though. Unless you are measuring actual leaf temperature then don't over think it. Keep it in the boundaries of what every online article repeats and then use the best bit of kit you have.. your eyes.. Good luck.

RH depends on temp for resulting vpd.. but choose a temp that corresponds to resulting VPD in the range of RH% you gave for seedlings.... i've heard some recommend 80% RH, ad i don't have a vpd chart open to see which temps fall in that <1.0 vpd area you list.... i believe that's what 'they' say is .8 vpd for seedlings, which seems a consistent suggestion. i see more varation in VPD suggestions for mature vege and blome/late bloom. in the end, if it's healthy and not crazy high vpd eaerly, it's going to be fine. can you speed it up? maybe... but that sort of resolution needs some trial and error to, bc each garden has it's own variables. the math is a guide to shorten that process... was just in a conversation about a different topic with same logic... the math is not "the" answer... it's a tool to help put us on track faster and more efficiently. it should be used to reduce trial and error and not expect it to replace it.
