Temperature too High, Can’t bring down.

This is my first indoor grow and I’m having problems keeping the temp down from the higher 80’s while I have my light on, and I’m just barely hitting 79 when it’s off. Starting to get concerned as my seeds are just beginning to sprout and i don’t want them to endure any stress.

84 is fine. if you cannot exhuast to a different area with no backdraft or cannot use an AC, there is nothing you can do. whatever room contains the tent, you have to control that entire environment, not just the tent. moving driver outside may have a couple degrees but will still be adding heat to the overall system. if you exhaust outside, that gets rid of some heat. (or outside that room in a way it cannot re-enter.) big fan of light hours at night -- definitely helps and probably cheaper on electricity for non-peak hours too.

Removing the ballast from your light to outside the tent + adapting your lights-on hours to be more through the night and off during the hottest part of the day (mid afternoon to mid evening) will certainly help if an ac is not in the budget right away.

as you are having no diary, i just can go to general advces, recucing the lghtintensity brings more cool adding fans, letting the tent open... howvery seedlings will need only around 100 watt in a big distance util they are 3 weeks old as long as you VPD is fine, the girls wont have stress means at least 75 RH in the tent in vegetation get more ventilation, and an humifidier

Put the extractor outside the tent, any motor inside will upgrade the temperature. Use fans, but same things: more fans, more temp. I suggest you to instal a fan, point to the light, so the hot air will go up instead of directly on the plants. You could also use a portable humidifier, but it will help only a little bit.

You could put some frozen water bottle in front of your intake fan if you can't afford a portable air conditioner. The more the better. Vegging plants can take more heat than flowering plants. Just don't strain them with to much light with the higher temps, or they will bleach and canoe the leaves. Watch that their not streching toward the light, if they are, move the light closer or make more intense.

They’ll be fine, seedlings and when in veg can take a bit of a hammering as far as I’m aware. It’s when they’re in flowering that you want to try keep the temps dialled in.

Adding three fans inside to create airflow is a good option, but the most effective solution is to invest in a portable air conditioner. Also, make sure to keep the temperature no higher than 87F
