Underestimated size of pots in tent. Is it safe to re-pot into smaller containers?

I just re-potted three young autoflower plants from 4” peat pots into 7 gallon fabric pots, but underestimated how cramped they would be in my 2x3 tent. Is it safe to re-pot them into smaller pots within a few days, or could that over-stress them?

To be honest, it's not the size of the pots that is going to be the problem... nor IS it a problem! The pots are always going to stay the same size.. it's the plants that will grow. You're going to have a space problem anyway, trying to fit 3 autos in that size tent but there you are... smaller pots will NOT equal smaller plants unless you go to something like a solo cup! LOL! And autoflowers absolutely hate being transplanted so please don't do that.
What I would suggest you do is plan to do some serious LST (and you can LST as often and as much as you need to) ... and you'll probably have to do some defoliation as well... which will probably include choosing only the best bud sites to leave and trimming off a LOT of lower bud sites.
Good luck! You're going to have a jungle! Make sure, when they get into flower, that you keep the humidity low (30s-40s) so you don't run into fungus/bud rot issues...

no dont re potted in smaller pots, just train them hard.. if you see them getting to big start defoliation and cut all the popcorn nugs for good air circulation, better more than less 💪

Na I wouldn’t do it.. I’m assuming these are all autos? Just not a good idea. And I think you’ll be in good shape the way things are anyhow. You want as much root space you can have.
If they get too big, that’s a good problem to have. Don’t stress it right now and stay the course

Set auto system for VPD or RHI have AC Infinity set up. I am wondering whether I should have the humidity triggers set up for VPD or continue with RH triggers. So far I have it triggered when humidity gets a tad low. If I trigger for VPD, I think I will have to constantly check leaf temp. Thoughts?

Flip to flower delayed because of extension cord led light. Fabric grow pot drainageHow do you get proper drainage? Using them in this grow with coco/perlite and another with soil, and unless I raise them on a rack the bottom stays wet because they sit in the runoff pan.
