It's more of a choice and experience really because Rockwool blocks are just a soilless substrate or growing medium.

uhm sure they do, some even do NFT in a 2'x4' it's not a problem , just a choice. My thing with rockwool is that it doesnt work as well as a normal root plug, but it does become necessary when you want to grow sterile. hope this helps ! 🚀

PH-Problems in Soil Before repotting, the pH value in the soil has always fallen to below 5.5. The plants always have an iron deficiency. I then repotted the plants and that worked well for 14 days. Now they are showing PH deficits again. The soil has PH 5,4 -4,8. What could be the reason?

Soil PH of 7.0 too high? How to lower soil PH with dry amendments?Ok guys, I assume all of us know at least a little about water PH. I need some expert advice. My soil PH is 7.0. Mold on soil I used BioBizz LightMix with Monsterbud Mix from Amnesia and some mycorrhiza in the hole of the seed. 3 seeds after 3 days still not germinated in soil. Had foil on top of the pots for humidity. Probably watered a bit too much. What should I do and will my seeds still germinate?

Overwatered cubes in hydro? Too close to the sun? or effect of having add Hi All, I have issues with my first hydro grow - i effed up. I think i was too slow in the transfer over in the tank. Light is 200 PPFD, EC at 0.6, and barely added any nutes. Did i manage to overwater some of these plants by having them too close to the net pot?

Growth I believe this to be mycorrhizae that was moving between pots I had touching and premoistened. Any second opinions? Doesnt look like mold. Puts off no spores when disturbed. Does not have that mold smell. Anyone else ever see this?

White mold?My smart pot is turning white at the bottom. There also appears to be roots trying to pop through. I put rocks between the pot and plate for air. I have one blade of grass and a tiny weed popping up, so conditions at the top of the pot are okay. Should be worried?

Not watered for a week. Why does the soil not dry even from above?Four fabric pots of 27 liters. Below is drainage from vermiculite, above is a layer of coconut, above is soil from peat, humus, sand and perlite, purchased. In the upper layer, perlite is twice as large.

Lightening Soil - Coco Coir or Perlite?I think my soil is a bit heavy and could have better drainage. Should I add more perlite or some coco coir for my next garden? My base is Biobizz Light-Mix. SUBSTRATES hey grower, greetings to all ... unfortunately I still need your very expensive advice ... they launched me into the world of cultivation with plagrow light mix earth and Atami graduated release pellets as fertilization .... 30 g per pot .... but I see that almost none of you fertilize with these fucking pellets ... .I have pots of 9l and others of 12.5 airpots .... what do you recommend different as fertilization ??? I want to make fucking beasts !!! give it in with the advice
