I guess, in order to resolve the issue of what your EC should/could be, we'd have to know exactly what it is you're growing - an autoflower or a photoperiod... photos can withstand a much higher EC than can an autoflower....

Are you running an air or submergible pump in your reservoir?

Amigo, intenta llenar el canastillo con arlita, ya que al estar pasando mucha luz, está comenzando a crecer algas, y pueden estar alterando el pH. Intenta dejar más arriba tu planta y además que no pase la luz hacia el agua. Saludos.

@growingGrannie, lol ur a riot. You can def feed 2 week old plants 5-600 PPMs with no problems, in fact you can feed a plant 1.2-1.4 the whole life cycle and crush it. EC doesn't fluctuate as much as PPMs? it is the same measurement, just a conversion. So the fluctuation is the same, you just don't see it on the meter.... @lungboi, good luck. seems like you will get all the help you need. 👊

I've got to get back in here and tell you under NO circumstances should you raise your ppm!!! 500-600ppm is for good strong plants much older than yours! Good god!!! And if you're growing an autoflower, it's the MAXIMUM you want to get to during the plants entire life! When the EC goes up (without you doing anything to increase it) and the pH goes up as well, it means your plant is being fed far too much. Here is an easy chart I use to help me figure things out with my grows... I always take it with a grain of salt because sometimes my plant just tells me something different .... but use these charts (one is for if you plant is drinking water and the other is for when she's not drinking) ... Scroll down a ways - the chart is called Hydro, pH, EC Imbalance Chart ... https://percysgrowroom.com/ec-and-ph-fluctuations-in-hydroponics/ And btw, it's useful to use EC rather than ppm as it doesn't fluctuate as quickly as ppm.... and the calculation to get to the EC reading is simple - you don't have to buy a special meter ... this is the equation: (ppm/1000)*2

First of all, start a diary... we need ALL the information that it contains to give you the best advice we can... Your ppm/EC is rising as is your pH = you're feeding your plant far too much. The plant is telling you this as well... those leaves are burning up from all the nutes. Withdraw/drain all but 1 gallon of water in your bucket and replace it with plain pH'd water that has some root enhancer in it as well as some H2O2 - maybe 2-3tsp. (You also need to block the open sections of the netpot so light does not get into the bucket.. this is asking for crap starting to grow in there and complete the destruction of your plants - the H2O2 will help kill anything that may have already started growing.) Do you even know if the roots have reached the water yet? I know they couldn't have reached the water by Day 2... so were you top-feeding with all those nutes? They should have been getting nothing but plain pH'd water with some root enhancer... at least until their roots hit the water and then, the small dose you gave them would have been perfect. I don't know what it is you're growing or what nutes you're using - this is where a diary would be invaluable - but you need to go slowly and if the plant reacts badly, the beauty of DWC is that you can instantly correct it.... Good luck - DM me if you have any questions about any of this....

Start a diary. There is a lot of good info you can add to help diagnose your problems: Water source (RO/tap), nutrients, water temps. Increase your feed to EC 1.0-1.2 (500-600). It's a little high, but it helps stabilize the PH. All that PH down isn't great. Did you clean the hydroton off before use? They can cause the PH to rise. If I can see the water with a picture, the light can get in your bucket, so you probably have algae growing too. It's not a big deal, but that could mess with the PH also. It looks like the lower leaves are really wet, maybe a fan would help.
