Newbie help for Temperature (Automatics)

Hi, everyone, I'm a newbie and started my first grow indoors 3 weeks ago. now I read different information about temperatures at plant level everywhere. a website says something from 20 - 24 Celsius. The other site something from 22-28 Celsius. Another website then says something

Generally thats the range buddy. Every strain has their prefered enviroment. Some strains like it little bit colder some strains like it little bit warmer. It depends… So 20-28 degrees is the range. I personally like to keep my plants between 22-26.
Cannabis plants are like humans. They are comfortable like you are around 22-26 degrees 😅

Second seed had been growing wrong way up.Turns out my second seed was growing upside down and the taproot had been growing towards the light for ~8 days. I've since transplanted and the seed doesn't seem to be growing much at all; although it has changed colour from being a yellowish hue to green. Is it likely a dud now6y ago

Slow growth / not spreading out much / compact plant. What gives ? Should I attempt to defoliate to get more light in there / pump more nutes ?Any advice on making it grow faster ? I'm in the 7th week of veg and it's not as bushy as it should. Still growing, just slow. It doesn't seem to want to spread much horizontally / fan leaves are staying relatively small.
