When you use a humidity dome, you have to insure your plant also has access to fresh air... a few holes in the dome will do the trick... your plant should NOT have water droplets on the leaves due to the dome!
I don't use one, tbh - I do something slightly more "down home" - I take a small towel or a bunch of paper towels and soak them in water and then encircle the seedling so that it's slightly higher than the seedling... this creates good humidity right around the plant but obviously allows plenty of fresh air to it as well. I like doing it this way for another reason as well - when the towel or paper towels dry out, I water IT well which waters the soil AROUND the plant and I'm never having to water right next to the tender stem or risking damping off... I'll only use it for about a week or until the overall humidity in the tent is sufficient - and to raise humidity in the tent, I'll also take towels soaked in water and wrung out so they're not dripping and hang them in the tent. Obviously, you'd need to re-wet the towels as they dry out.
Good luck
