Lets be clear, in the “question” i made about my new custom tent i got some comments like “put mylar” or “panda film” but to be honest, before using the aluminium foil I checked that someone did the job for me

I prefer a reflective material that evenly disperses the light. Hot spots are not ideal.

White is actually best .but if you have lower Temps use mylar keeps more heat .blackdog led did studies on this

everyone is free to use whatever they want, of course. just be careful because aluminum foil reflects really well, maybe even too much, and that's the problem. if you position it correctly, you won't have any issues. but if you do like me and create a concave part, you risk having a spot where the light concentrates, and if it's on the plant, it will burn a leaf or worse. it happened to me with a plant that looked like a genetic defect. I removed the aluminum, and it went back to normal...

im using alu foil with no doubts, if you try to put it flat it works well.

Alu foil is a bad choice. It makes hot spots. I would go Mylar or… white matte paint.

Setting up air cooled refactor.I've got a new air cooled light refractor, a tube like one. So looking at my next set up to be LED, few options out there so wanted to see what ppl can suggest, needs to have built in fans to help with heat from the light, can go up to 1000W but not necessarily needed, 5ft x 5ft grow tent

Hydro mars tsw 2000w got the complete tent set up and I was wonder if anybody else using this same led. when its sleep time after 18 hours running at 25 percent leds been off for 4 hours and I can still see lite power on under hood this normal or not how to fix doesn't seem right
