Setting up air cooled refactor.

I've got a new air cooled light refractor, a tube like one. I've set it up such as the pic, I'm thinking of putting the extractor where it shows on the pic with the air flow going the way of the arrow, would this be OK? I can't find anything online about setting this one up.

Yep, you got it. Just add you exhaust fan tube pulling air out of your tube/filter and your good. I have similar lights(air cooled) set up similar. If you want to cool it more though don’t use your exhaust fan and filter, leave it be and instead run a second fan for your light, and set it up roughly how you have it except no filter and pull the air from outside your tent. Then eject the hot air at the other end outside of the room. This will pull cooler air from outside your tent into the light cooler and eject the hot air outside or to another room, keeping things extra chilly. This is how I have to setup my 2x1000w HPS air cooled hoods in series on one exhaust fan. I pump the hot air out of my grow room and into my adjacent non-heated basement to heat it a little Lol works great and recycles the heat saving me money in the winter. Hope this help! Cheers 💨

Hi! To achieve a more cooling efficient solution with cooltubes, it's recommended to have intake outside your grow chamber, on a separated airflow.
