The plant stretches towards the light so try moving your light closer. But that's mostly a fix for future grows, for now I recommend adding some silica in your nutrients (like Advanced Nutrients Rhino Skin) so you give the stem strength

Unfortunately this happens a fair bit the best suggestion I will give you is to do what I would do mix some perlite and some compost then spread it around the outside of the seedling leave the leaves showing with a little stem about how it should look you can judge by pictures of other seedlings this is the only way around it really otherwise the stem will get lanky and weak.

My seedlings do this everytime, even with bulbs closer, or different type of bulbs (probably my low temperatures who play a role) I now anticipate that and don't fully fill containers, I always fill like 2/3 or 3/4 and add more substrate when seedlings strecth Wait roots colonize all container and show to the top before transplanting for avoid any stem break while transplanting them

Hi HawkGrows, your plant is stretching to reach the light. Lower the lights to 12-14 inches above the top of the plant

Look - that stretch isn’t too worrisome. The plant will naturally stretch out several inches as if it was underground, to make sure it’s above soil. Then it stops and begins showing true leaves. Don’t bring light closer unless it’s stretching bad after first leaves are established. You mentioned that the PPFD is at 350 currently. That doesn’t need to be any closer for the next week or so at least..

Move the light closer/turn up the brightness - lack of light makes the stems stretch. Now that it has stretched, make sure you have a fan providing air flow as this will strengthen the stem. Good luck! 👍

You can always pike up some soil around her stalk and then move your light down just a touch so your plants don't reach for the light as much. This way you won't get as much stretch. Hope this helps.

Hey friend! To reduce stretch, place closer to the light. Now to fix the already stretched stem, simply repot and bury upto just below the first leaves :) Happy grows my friend :)
