Hi everyone! Im a first time grower and have some questions about watering and feeding. Im growing in a 2x2, mars hydro ts600 and biobizz all-mix, 5 gallon fabric pots. Should i water until i see water coming out the bottom of the pots? Also when should i start feeding?🙌

Just as important is how fast you water. The soil can only absorb water so fast. If you add water too fast it will just run through and out the bottom and without wetting all the soil in between. If water is erupting from the side of your fabric pot and running down the outside... you are watering too fast. I like to give the entire top surface of soil a light watering to start. This may take a bit to soak in (should be a clue to how the rest of the soil absorbs water). Then a few minutes later dispense more water. I do 5 or 6 small water applications each time I water. Then a half hour after watering come back and feel the bottom and sides of your pot. If everything is damp and cool you have done a good job. If you find that the bottom is still dry you need to use more water. Remember that the fabric pot allows evaporation everywhere. Your pot will dry quickly. You may need to water every day or maybe every other day. Don't be surprised if your 5 gallon pot can take 1/2 gallon or more water every day when your plant is full grown. Now, while your plant is just a wee sprout your main focus should be DO NOT OVER WATER !!!! The plant is not using much water and evaporation is only happening from the surface. Water infrequently but deeply. The roots are deeper than you think. You want to get moisture down deep as the roots will seek out water.

So when your plant is that small it's really not necessary to water until your pits flush. You can save that for when week 4 and up when the plants are more established and you want to start testing your run off. I suggest watering towards the outside of the pot so the plant seeks out the moisture and better establish roots. Hope this helps

Since you're growing an auto in a 5 gallon pot, it's not necessary to water to the point of runoff just yet. I would start doing that about week 3 but I WOULD water deeply... not necessarily the entire diameter of the pot.... those roots are going to be growing strongly down and out and you don't want them to run into dry substrate. What I'm seeing from your photos is perfect. As for feeding, autos don't particularly want/need any nutrients for the first couple of weeks and when you DO decide to give it some nutrients, use only 1/4 strength to see how they're tolerated. You can increase the dosage when you're sure the nutes are going to be tolerated BUT always remember with autoflowers that less is more. You'll never want to give them full strength nutes... About Week 3 or 4, you can start changing to bloom nutes as you see them come into pre-flower... at this point, you'll want to start reducing your nitrogen-heavy grow nutes and adding a once-a-week dose of calmag as you increase the bloom nutes. Good luck!
