Hi All. New Grower here. Just checking in, how're we looking? 70/30 Coco/Perlite. 18/6 light @ 36 inches @ 100%. Canna nutes + Calimagic + Greatwhite. I'm getting some settling of my coco, so I'm adding a bit on top every once in a while.

if you have gnats, consider different source for the substrate... if stored outside, you get gnats. buy a product with Bti in it, like mosquito bits for a top dress or mosquito dunks if you have a reservoir (not good for irrigation plumbing though). i only mention cuse i see the sticky traps.. can use bti pre-emptively and avoid 99.9% of it.. if i see zero gnats i'll stop using it at some point in the grow, but will use it to stat every time. it's cheap enough and worth it. you'll see 1 or 2 around if the larva is present in the substrate.. it's never 100% but it most definitely controls it - if used midstream it'll corral a problem within 2-3 weeks. sticky traps still good to put out... kill in 2 parts of life cycle that way. no worries on adding more to the top.. you can easily bury with transplant, too. Roots will lose their function over time due to exposure to light. burying them will eventually cause them to re-differentiate yet again into roots... cause and effect. it's small potatoes either way as long as they are in an appropriately sized pot, which they are. watering habits will help the most to avoid superficial roots. You are in coco/perlite, so it's easy as pie... find a well-balance nute mix and use a concentration somewhre around 1.3-1.5EC every irrigation with 10% runoff. the runoff ensures each time the concentration is where you want it. you may need to tweak balance of the various nutrients invovled, but the concentration range will be damn close to what you want relative to your garden's variables. you can push higher and some plants may want a little less, but those contexts are extremely obvious and slow enough to react to with no harm. change formula? give a little extra runoff and that new balance is in effect immediately... another benefit of soilless grows. start tracking how much of each nute you feed... ppms, weighted average of label %'s.. whatver floats your boat. when you se tox symtpoms, make note of what levels you are seeing it... if you see a consistent result in this regard, you can easily avoid it in future. Even if i change products, i can devise a formula that comes out near what i used before and be confident it's going to work well, because reality is deterministic and works on cause and effect. makes you feel all warm inside... despite the fact it also means free will may be an illusion, but that's not a topic for discussion here... :P

forgot to explain why the watering habits avoid superficial roots... 10% runoff each time.. always saturate entirety of pot.. this will cause the top layers to dry faster on a consistent basis (vs adding little bits of water that don't actualy saturate entire pot).. .roots sense moisture.. they bend away from drier areas. cause and effect. good watering habits promote deeper roots. deeper roots don't get exposed to light and stay useful longer.. all around positive things. waiting for top layer to dry can avoid unwanted foreign growths on substrate. i'd suggest a healthy wet/dry cycle (no wilting of course) to promote a robust root zone - it will grow a thicker set of roots in a slightly dryer context.. then you can ampm up frequency with a well-sized pot and plant later on if you want... (frequent ferticgation doesn't need as much runoff as 10%, but the plant must be able to drink at least some minimal amount before dumping more on.. or you'll get root rot. anyway.. do teh basics well.. forma baseline first.. then try new stuff.. you'll better recognize when a change actually improved the outcome or if it was just stroking ego.

Yeah you're looking good. I'm only confused about your ppm but that's gotta be a typo. Also the use of recharge? That's usually used during bloom and towards the middle/end(rarely the end of veg). That's about it. Everything else looks good. Your vpd is most likely good. Can't tell without leaf temp but your room VPD is great.

You're all good! Greatwhite is good stuff and you should use it now whilst they're building up their roots and also when transplanting to larger pots. Personally, I'd hold off adding any of the Canna nutrients until you have one more set of leaves (in a few days). I've used the entire Canna range - 'Terra' and 'Aqua' - for the past 4 or 5 years and I love them. I find it best to use slightly under the recommended dosage on the first feed and then build up. There are less vague Canna feed charts than the one that's available on their website - this is the link to the coco version of the one I use: https://www.growell.co.uk/blogs/feed-charts/canna-coco-nutrients-feed-chart. If you don't have Canna Start, don't worry, you can either use 5ml/10L of grow or give them nothing as I said above - I only give them Rhizotonic in those first two weeks from seed. Other than the Canna Start, I use all the products on that list, pretty much to the recommended dosages, and I never have any issues with deficiencies. You're doing good anyway, keep doing what you're doing! 😎

bene sei riuscito a non farle allungare troppo come avevamo detto nella vecchia domanda mi raccomando umido luce e lasciare asciugare il terreno dopo ogni irrigazione... a me sembrano andare bene...
