Should one decrease light intensity during early flower?

Should one decrease light intensity during early flower, and then gradually increase again? I see DLI/PPFD recommendations for flowering in general, but not for the different stages of flowering.

it's a mature plant.. it can handle it... a lot of this could depend on context too.. When shifting from 18h to 12, if trying to provide same DLI as before you need 150% more powerful light over 12 hours to match what was given over 18 before... Is this a stressfull change? human eyes and grwoing plants without measuring and comparing to a control is not something a human can discern, even if they believe they can, lol. I wouldn't be confident either way on this portion of the question. If blasting it day one of 12/12 (to reach same DLI as before) doesn't cause any ill-effects, i wouldn't worry... I'm not certian but seems a little extra droopy at end of day the first 2-3 days after flip... I have been doing a 2-3 day transition relating to power of light and distance from canopy... to try to ease it in... regardless, even if not necessary, this fraction of the total energy is not going to make a noticeable difference at the end... talking a portion of total light and only 2-3 days out of 56-70+ of flower phase. obeserve and react.. see damage? react... so no problems, leave as is. It's not that simple with light... when it is a bordeline thing, it may take a while before the plant shoes light damage. I had my lights too close and bleached some taller colas lately... initially, they looked fine for about 7-10 days. I knew it was too close due to past experience despite no signs of initial damage, but knew at some point some bleaching was going to happen. I left it like that because my canopy was a bit uneven and by my educated guess the limited damage i allowed will be outweighed by the increased light to other areas of canopy that made up much larger sq ft of total than 2-3 colas that got singed a bit. But, it was damaging from day one.. just because i couldn't see the damage doesn't mean it was not occurring.. it was unhealthy for several days before i saw the damage. it's important to keep notes on this stuff.. and look back on it.. not everythign happens immediately.

No! The more light, the better the buds.... you should have your lights at 100% during the entire flowering period... Good luck!

Nope. 100% unless you're seeing light stress. My opinion
