Think of it as area of coverage. 1 plant can be huge or small. I cannot tell with the given information, but 100w should be good for roughly 2sq ft. So, a 14"x14" upto 18"x18" is probably best, but there is insiffucient data to give you an answer. One plant can easily be grown under this plant, if not grown too large. Check out my GD contest submission on LED lighting. If you can find a umol/s spec for your light, you can reference the tables for your garden area.

P.s. Yeah the bump in price from a unknown chinese brand to a well established chinese brand is worth it, you want to make sure you are not lacking in light and reducing yields significantly, getting too much streetch and small flower, all due to a saving of 30€/40€, you end up losing more money in cannabis since the flower is worth what its worth. If you get 4 extra grams (wich is a low estimate if you can grow well) those 4 grams already paid up for the price bump. In this case you CAN buy peace of mind, i recomend it :) and it comes cheap, always better than spending the whole grow regreating it. I regreat not getting the bigger model for mine, it was 40€ more and now i gotta spend 200-250 to get a new one when i get a bigger tent.

I hate it when those chinese websites give up a reading in lux for growlight when lux doesn't even matter at all because u can have a bright light(high lux) with nearly no par(photosyntetically active radiation), and this often happens with chinese lights.
