bruxupanswered grow question 2 years ago There should be enough nutrients in the soil for a good 3-4 weeks, maybe a little bit longer. You don't want to add more while the plant is still young and fragile. In my experience, I usually wait until the plants have at least 3-4 sets of true leaves, or about 4 or 5 weeks, give or take. I generally don't start fertilizing until the plants are about a month old, then I'll start feeding once a week. Always start with half the recommended dosage and slowly work your way up. Less is more, and generally speaking, it's easier to take care of a nutrient deficiency (not feeding enough) than a nutrient toxicity (feeding way too much). Take your time, and check your plants regularly. After you get more comfortable, you'll be able to tell if your plants requires more or less food. Hope this helps. Best of luck and happy growing!
