How to calculate NPK properly? I use Advanced Nutrients, but as I calculate by their schedule, I dont get more Nitrogen and less PK in the vegetative phase, so I want to re-adjust the calculations

it's fairly complex. Mulder's chart can help understand relationships between the individual nutrients needed. pH is going to impact what you want vs someone else too. So some local variables add volatility to what you need vs what i need, for example. in vege i'd shoot for something like: 130 ppm N 60+ ppm P 190+ ppm K 100+ ppm Ca 75+ ppm Mg less than 110 ppm S This should be around 1,3 to 1,4 EC. It's fiarly mild concentration for soilless and hydro context. It'd be safe fo autos and photos to start and you can very easily observe and adjust to any slow progressing problems to fine-tune it to your local needs. I have hard water, so you may need more Ca and Mg. Although, when i switched to soft water (convenience), i didn't notice a huge problem. Definitely needed a tad more Ca than before with hard tap water but not all plants showed any symptoms and was very slow in progression. easier to add than take away. Even 130 ppm N my be a bit too much. 120 t0 140 is probably the range you'll roam in to make a particular plant happy. in bloom i don't have to drop this any further than 110ppm N and avoid toxicities. Mg usually needs to be dropped a bit along with it.

fwiw that average npk at 1,3 to 1,5 range is about a 8 : 8 : 15 or 1 : 1 : 2, less resolved. this is the ratio instructed by by numerous professional Ag brands that pre date teh esoteric marijuana brand market, which is full of inferior products and bloated prices. southern ag, masterblend, jack's, floraflex pro line (bloated price), athena pro dry nutes line (bloated price), and others... all very similar ending ratio. it's because there's research to back it up. this is why 95% of what i grow can use 1 formula without major issues while growing 7-8 different strains. the idea that these plants are picky is a false one. that comes from ppl using esoteric ratios that may work for some but not as wide of a range as this one in particular. it's not "mine" .. though yo do need to makesome small adjustments relative to your local variables that impact growth rates. you will have to make it your own in that sense.

You don’t necessarily want more N than PK. You’re gonna want more K than anything across the board in Veg and flower. It’s pretty simple. NPK is a percentage of the N the P and the K in each. Sooo use that against how many mL of each you’re using and you’ll come up with an idea of how much of each element you have in your feeds. Gottagrow it’s not rocket science. We can make anything more complicated than it needs to be.. this doesn’t need to be

You'll find all dif NPK ratios. And the ones that are needed or more used is 7-5-5 for growth and flowering 3-10-10 They're many ppl who use dif 2-1-2 which is also 10-5-10. To fully control your NPK you need to get raw N,P,K you'll never be able to do it properly with liquid nutes. The math is mind blowing. Dif evaop rates, lots of things to take into consideration, LOTS. I think a good simple grow all in 1 will do you. And when you're in bloom go to bloom nutes. These days. Everything you need is in a G,B,Micro. Focus on your growing skills, building up knowledge and the only true way to do that is my practice. As plants are living things. All are dif and react differently, so you'll be forever learning new things. But NPK and making your own ratios, they're so many versions already made up for you. Just, go with good nutes. If you do want more control over it. I suggest getting Green House Feeding mineral line. They have PK booster you can add do flowering.. but for full control, Raw do a lines of each of every Marco nutrient and will allow you to have full control over your nutrients

Easy ratio to follow for any grow phase is 3-2-1 npk and for bloom we switch it around 1-2-3. With advanced nutrients they have 50 different products, I do rate them but hate using 15 different nutes every feed. Depending on what you have will depend on what you need to do. But 2ml of thier micro, grow, bloom will cover any weed grow in veg.
