Why has my plant slowed down to a trickle in water uptake from the wick bottom feed system?

So I have a bottom feed wick system. Works great, but now my plant is dry on the bottom and seems to have slowed down to a trickle of water uptake. What does this mean? The soil is also drying out pretty quickly as well. See Diary for further details. What do I do? Thanks!

If this was my grow, I would be watering from the top since she's not taking it up from the wicking and is drying out.... the last thing you want is for your entire plant to turn crispy. Water until there's some runoff and then wait to see if the runoff is soaked back up into the pot - if it is, give more water until it stops soaking it back up and then throw away the excess... Good luck!

@Creepy_Steve I added some close up pictures of the Wedding Glue. Healthy as can be and about 2 weeks left before harvest at least. No nutrient issues whatsoever. Ph and nutes are right on point. I'm using living soil with a ph perfect advanced nutrient regimen.

well, if the substrate is feeling dry, then maybe the wick system is no longer working as well as you think, eh? either it can't keep up with the drinking or it is no longer wicking as effectively as before. in either case the rate of provision is not keeping up with rate of use. the plant is probably trying to drink as much as it usually does. this assumes you have a good grasp of controlling ph and concentration levels of nutes. the problem with bottom feed is you don't get any runoff.. so potential for buildup of nutes is real and something to consider. in this case the plant doesn't look overdosed from afar. certainly not in a severe enough way to impact it's drinking. is it still ripening? again, the picture is too far away. if it's 'done' it'll drink less as it nears death. kinda looks like it has time but too far awaay to see.
