Hello Novicegreen, the weed is the most potent when most of the trichomes are cloudy and around 10% got a amber brownish color.
Make sure that you look at the trichomes that grow on the buds and not just the trichomes on the sugar leaves. And look at multiple different spots on the bud to get a good picture from the ripeness of the full bud instead of just 1 small part.

Milky is good... but you still have a lot of clear trichs that I can see - and you'll want to see them start to turn amber before chopping... and you're going to want to see the plant start to fade even though you're still feeding it.... Personally, I think you've got about 2 more weeks to go...

i'm a big fan of an earlier harvest. once i see a consistent amount of amber and the trichomes look like plastic instead of glass, i'm ready to harvest.
some people like it more ripe.
so, if you haven't experimented with that, do try. you can even leave a few buds to ripen longer, or you can take a few buds early and let the bulk ripen more.. whateveer you think you'll prefer.

To the bin… i guessSo, i harvested with gloves, trimmed with gloves, stored at 1/4 capacity of the jar and hace opened the jar daily a couple of minutes, 55% humidity booster placed inside, i don’t think this is trichomes getting frosty, it’s clearly mold, isn't it? Help during curing!Currently curing and it smells good in the jar but when taking a bud out and smoking it taste and smells planty. Got humidity pack 55% and 1st week of curing, hottest temps hit round 24 deg but quickly brought back down.
