Foxtailing

I personally hate when buds foxtail. My question is why did my blueberry glue foxtail towards end of flowering when it was making nice hard round nugs before and nothing changed as far as my environment goes. It’s happening all over the plant not just the top. Any theories??

could be genetics, could be temps or light related... sounds more like genetics if it is all over plant. you can snip off the larfy projections while trimming.. if you make bubble hash, just gives a bit more bubble hash :P if it fills in well can keep the knobs on the buds. just depends.

Foxtailing doesn't do any harm except to the LOOK of the buds... if you are a commercial grower, foxtails wouldn't be good for "bag appeal" - but they smoke the same. I'll agree with my growmies here that what you're looking at is simply genetic.. Nice looking grow, even with the foxtails!

When it’s consistent across the whole bud top to bottom like that - it’s indicative of genetics to me
