I would, I just wouldn't super crop or defoliate. Pipe cleaners are great to have in place and you can loosen or tighten them up if one gets away from the pack.

What is the risk to apply HS training(Topping Defoliation) to the strain for which LST/SCRoG is recommended?I am growing Auto Black Opium(Divine Seeds).
The description says SCROG and LST work good.
I started bending it recently and did 1 time topping earlier.
I feel I need to do some defoliation, but it will be 2nd HS technique, which contradicts the recommendations.

OUTDOOR !! || LST on AUTOsNever had a satisfying LST when growing Autos outdoor, my idea is that suboptimal conditions of outdoor enviroment lead to slowed veg (compared to indoor) and low stretch. Discoloration progressing from old fan to colas, is this a concern/requires action?I have some discoloration happening to OB5,more pics in week 6. Started first on few old fan leaves with yellow & brown/purple patches and now is occurring to the several of the colas and is spreading to more fan leaves.
