Personally looking at your plant, the only thing I would touch are those flowers at the bottom right near the soil, removing them will force energy to the rest of your flowers giving you an overall better bud and yield.

I always start to remove blocking leaves from early flowering.a few every other day and my plants don't seem to be caring about it.especially lower branches love it.When I'm in full contact with my plants, they are healthy, green,I feel them and do what I think is better for them.it works

I defol right from clone/seedling. It's part of my IPM strategy. I don't use any sprays of any kind, have had flowers run through 65-75% humidity with no PM or bud rot to be seen. It also increases the par in the lower canopy, mind you no more than 30% defol max on any given day, and a nute follow up with a few days recovery in between. As a side note, light browsing of the plants can trigger increased resin production to counteract the browsing(defol). It's a natural defence mechanism... Happy growing!

I have done a light defoliation in late flower and not seen any negative effects. I did this for airflow reasons when my humidity started to get on the high side. My justification was it's better than losing a whole plant and it was successful but I did the minimum. If your concerned only take a few leaves every 2 days until you reach the desired results. Check my RQS Northern Light grow for photos. The defoliation was week 12.
