milk doesn't work. inconsistent resutls = trash. i fell for that old wive's tale too, if it makes you feel any better. all it does and drie up and rot on your leaves. makes it smell gross. growers ally active ingredient is citric acid. don't over pay for citric acid. there's no cure for wpm. even if you wash it off the surface, it'll grow back because the mycelium network underneath is still there. so, amputate, then spray around the area with your citric acid. horticultural oil of virtually any type will help impede new colonies getting a foothold too. spray the whole plant, but make sure you get everything nearby any previously existing colony. spray under leaves too, it helps. avoid spraying buds. you'll probably singe some pistils if you do - they'll turn color. should be a minor ramification. i assume citric acid breaks down quickly, but you'd want to look up any active ingredient used and see how long before it biodegrades. you don't want your weed tainted. washing buds doesnt' clean them either. like i said, half the fungi anatomy is underneath the surface, so washing wpm off the surface is not cleaning it of WPM. don't use infected plant materia for anything. don't dry /cure it with non-infected material. keep it isolated. i recommend throwing it out. so, cut it out, carefully. avoid agitation as teh wpm will throw spores if shaken around. then, spray down area well, and entire grow area while at it, as the spores are definitely floating around. i'd repeat on a more frequent basis than instructed, but every product impacts the plant a bit differently, so keep observing for collateral damage and you can decide how frequently it can be applied. horticultural oil helps impede new colony growth, but won't cure anything. again, none of this stuff you want applied to teh buds if possible. within 5-7 days a new colony can produce spores. 5-7 days froma point you could barely see and likely missed due to size. even commercial fungicide they won't let you buy over the counter in the US is not very effective. 30% effective? there's no magic bullet here. can google about a vineyard using UVb, i believe. that works the best. have to apply it 15mins AFTEr lights out. has to do with the physiology of the mold. that's probably the best option, but difficult and dangerous to apply such things at home.

Go buy a uvc bulb at precisely 222nm the wavelength does not penetrate mammalian lol ll skin or plant material but will decay the DNA of bacteria and fungi. Add a cycle timer to come on every x seconds every x hours or as needed. Believe it needs only short flashes iirc. Will cost you, but never need worry bout wpm again or any mite or insect for that matter.
