Hi all, my first grow. I lost count how many weeks it has been, but it seems a few months since planting. And at least 6 weeks of flowering if no 8. I was wondering if it's ready to be harvested and dried? When touched the plant is sticky, smell is quite strong as well

Too many pistils are still white. They need change to a reddish brown first. Also check the trichromes with a jewelers loupe or use your cell phone camera if it's got a good one and decent zoom pics. Also I see light burn and/or heat stress with those burned tops and sugar leaves are dried out curling in too early Looks like they are in week 5 or 6 of flower. They still have 4 to 5 weeks left. I always run mine 10 to 12 weeks after I change the light schedule.

Thanks everyone for their messages. There was a slight aphid population on the plant few weeks ago which was dealt with. I believe the leaves are damaged because of underwatering. Since its my first grow I thought its normal for the plant to start dying out when giving all energy to buds. However, again thanks all for their insights. Will be more careful and caring with my plants

It's nor looking good you have pests and possibly bud rot personally I would chop and start over sorry but you are going to struggle to get it back to good health before finishing

My poor little friend grower… Between the spider mites webbing and the rotten buds, I don’t know if there’s decent smoke left in your crop …

It looks like you have some pests according to the leaves in some of the pics. I think it has more time before you chop. want to aim for aorund 80% dried pistils and a nice mix of trichomes on the buds. ideally all cloudy with some amber, If there's some clear thats ok as well. Good trichome colours to familiarize yourself and judge when they are ready. Good Luck!
