When to harvest?

The lady seems to start ripening. Some rare amber trichomes appear. When is optimal to harvest this strain?Any advice is appreciated.

Another 3 weeks or so, or when there are approx 95-98% brown pistils (hairs), this will co-incide with 10-20% amber trichomes quite reliably.

Vivosun 300W light question I use a vivosun 300W and Ive looked at other diaries and people perfer to do more of an 18-6 throughout the grow and ive kept mine 12-12 throughout my entire grow. So im curious why do an 18-6 light cycle with this light. Is it to maximize the light the plant receives.
