Defoliación

Buenas, Teniendo en cuenta que la función principal de la defoliación en vegetación es dar más luz a los nudo para que crezcan más y en floración luz a los cogollos formando para que engorden más. Puedes hacer un poco cada semana si quieres. Personalmente me gusta quitar un 20% de que suelen ser solo las hojas más grandes que dan más sombra, las quito de arriba a abajo en ese orden. Dejo que vuelvan a crecer 2 semanas y repito, a no ser que crezcan muy rápido y vea necesario hacerlo antes. Defoliación suele ser solo quitar hojas y no crecimiento de nudos pero me gusta quitar los de abajo primero y segundo, a veces tercero también. Solo cuando veo que la planta esta creciendo mucho y la luz no llegara a penetrar tan abajo con lo cual tendría cogollos pequeños y aireados. Cuando ves que llegaran a ser unos buenos arbolitos. Si es tu primera vez haciendo defoliación empieza poco a poco y ves como reacciona tu niña.. eso sí de arriba a abajo y quitando las grandes para así dar más luz. At that point I like to remove all the growth from seed. Round , single and the tri leaf sets. Then I take the lower shade's that have a branch growing out more than an inch. Topping will push branch growth if not making any. Cheers!

Cut in a way that leaves the most developed branches. It can be 2, it can be 4... but they should be close to each other! As close as possible on the stem to each other! Cut off the top and all the extra lower branches... let the remaining branches develop a bit! After that, proceed to defoliation! 👆 All of this should be done after transplanting if you plan to transplant! 👌 Good luck to you!

Looks to me like you could do it anytime. Take no more than 1/3 of the leaves off at any one time. The larger Fan Leaves would be the first one's I took personally. Just a snip near the stem and your good. Just take care not to damage the bud sites! Happy growing! 👊
