Welcome to the members. My question is the following. Is it worth starting LST training now? I did the pruning as described. I see it has grown two beautiful branches. The plant is 5 weeks old. Auto Moby dick. Thank you for your help in advance

Yeah but do light lest. Adding clothes pins will add weight to branches pulling them down slightly. This will open the canopy as it grows. Allowing better light to the buds. Thus larger denser high quality buds. Since flowers are showing I wouldn't tie them down and stress them hard. I would add clothes pins or slight pull them over with cord or something. Just letting them stretch and open as they grow. TopShelfStealth23 on here uses the clothes pin method and he has great pictures in his gorilla cookies diary. I believe weeks 5 6 and 7 show the pics of how he does it. Goodluck and please consider me as the answer so I can be entered for a chance to win grower of the month contest I would really appreciate your support growmie 😃 🙏

If your Moby Dick auto is 5 weeks old and looks good after some pruning, starting a bit of LST now could help it grow more evenly. Just be gentle – autos don't like too much fuss. If it seems happy with the training, keep at it, but if it starts looking stressed, maybe give it a break. Enjoy the journey with your plant!

If you are growing outdoors then you need to stop training and pruning . The earth spins and thus the sun light moves from one side of your plant to the other side in a day. That is all any plant on earth requires for light, so no need to do what you are doing unless you are trying to keep it under 3 feet. You are fighting nature. Maybe start following other outdoor growers. I wish room was spinning so I wouldn't need to top and prune and bend.

Yes you can start LST, just be gentle and remember you can always lst her branches more the next day if you're worried about breaking branches by doing to much at one time.
