newbie rookie 1st timer,how to water

Well had the same question years ago. What stage are you in early veg or Flowering. I do 1 third of the bucket size until some water drains out on the bottom. When the pot is lighter after some days and the soil is more or less dry water again. At first I used a scale and scaled them to get a feeling for it. I use 9 liter pots that are filled with roughly 8 liters. So i just get the out and let the water flow until it drips on the bottom. PLease if you have the feeling that you already did a mistake in watering and you have dry spots in the pot where water has never reached soil (You can see this as soon as it bubbles when you water) then please drown the pot in water and let the whole soil get and soke water. This guaratees that the whole soil has water and no dry spots are there. So I would say. do the following: drown them @ first in a bigger pot of water untill no ore bubbles and the pot sinks to the botom(yes you can do this with the plant in the bucket ;-) ) when all unneeded wahter has been dripped off (2-3 Minutes after taking it out of the bigger pot) weigh the pot and the plant and weigh after a couple days whent he pot feels lighter. Then add as much water to reach the last weigh. Do this a couple of times to get the feeling for it.. Disclaimer, this has worked for me and i hat the info from someone too.
