Sounds like Amature has been quite attentive to their plant! Flushing is a good practice to ensure a clean and smooth harvest. Given that it's an auto ultimate on day 81 and has been flowering for 8 weeks, it might be close to harvest time. Here are a few things to consider: Trichome Check: Look at the trichomes under a magnifier. If they are mostly milky with some amber, it might be time to harvest. If they're mostly clear, give it a bit more time. Consider the Strain: Auto Ultimate tends to have a flowering time of around 10-12 weeks. Day 81 is getting close, but the specific phenotype and growing conditions can influence the exact timing. Light Cycle: Your 24/0 light cycle might be contributing to the long flowering time. Consider switching to 12/12 for the last part of the flowering stage. This mimics natural light conditions and can help with bud development. Nutrient Deficiency: Make sure the plant has all the necessary nutrients. If you've been flushing, it's essential to provide the plant with the nutrients it needs for a healthy finish. Patience is Key: If the trichomes aren't where you want them yet, be patient. The last weeks of flowering are crucial for bud development and potency. Amature is doing a great job with the information provided. Keep monitoring, and you'll be enjoying your Auto Ultimate harvest soon!

Smartphone use a hard post-processing on photos, so it's not a well suited tool to watch trichomes (but you can shoot raw to lift the heavy compression). Get a good magnifier or microscope and if you see some amber, few transparents and a lot of milky one, you're good to harvest. ^^

Now that you have flushed the soil, you must wait for the plant to break down its nutrients, particularly the Nitrogen. Your plant is still green, full of nitrogen and chlorophyll. Harvesting a plant full of chlorophyll gives a harsh taste and can turn your buds into Hay… New growers tend to freak out about their trichomes and are missing the most important part…

The Trichomes are what you wanna inspect. 60x jewellers magnifying glass will give you a close enough look at the resin glands to see their colour and clarity. The ratio you want is 70% cloudy, 20% amber and 10% clear. If you determine them to be around that ratio, then they are ready for harvest. Remember, the bulbous head of the resin gland is where you want to be looking.
