Fox tail?

Green_Man_420

Is this anything to worry about? Looks like my buds are fox tailing. They are in the harvest window. Just wanted a bit more of a flush. Medusa F1 will be 70 days old tomorrow. It’s not all the buds but some. I have never had this happen before and I think it’s down to the cold.

It's fox tails, usually intense light or heat cause this. If harvesting soon no worry. If grown they get hard.

Yes, the buds are foxtailing, but with you so close to harvest, it's nothing to worry about.

> The last week of flower when I flush I tend to reduce the light intensity by 10 to 20 percent. As they don't require as much PAR in the ripeness stage. Don't. Not enough photosynthesis (<400μmol/m².s) the plant don't pump and consume the residual nutrients and, worse, start to regress.

It's not foxtailing, It's your yield that's increasing. :3 Your plants don't stop producing flowers once they start budding. But you can reduce the level of nitrogen if you want.

Foxtailing is usually caused by genetics, heat or excessive light. I wouldn't worry about it at your stage as you are flushing. I think she is just telling you she's done. The last week of flower when I flush I tend to reduce the light intensity by 10 to 20 percent. As they don't require as much PAR in the ripeness stage.
