That PPM is a little high for that seedling stage in my opinion, we use distilled water (0 PPM) and aim for a goal of 100-200 for this stage.

maybe the pepples are set to 5.0 PH and the little roots are not happy with it?

Looking at your setup, I agree with you. My opinion is that it was you moving the lights too close. I’ve been having the same issues with my LED. I think I’ve finally found the sweet spot for seedlings. I don’t use the same lights but my Sunraise lights have to be 36+ inches away from seedlings or else they burn them. Just remember every setup is different and even someone with the same light as you may have to hang it a different distance from their plants depending on a number of factors such as air flow, tent/room temperature and/or reflective walls. pH for hydro is supposed to be lower than in soil. I think your pH is fine but some strains can be finicky. In your diary when you germinated the seedling you say you had high pH and then lowered it after your seedling was already planted correct? The color issues on your leaves could even be as simple as that pH fluctuation from you adding pH down into the water. Best of luck!

I thought for hydroponics pH should be between 5.5 and 6.5?
