The general consensus is topping is not ideal for autos unless your well versed in topping. If so go for it. Its just a matter of making sure yiurbdo it at a time where the plant wont take much time to recover from it and become stunted.

I've topped autos no problem. If you have the height room don't top, if you don't and need her to stay flat and wide then top her., π±π

If you will top autoflowering plant it may not grow enough before going blooming. You could top photoperiodic plants because you can control the duration of the vegetative period.

Should I defoliate after topping with LST ?I just did my first topping and she took it very well, no signs of stress and actually growing really fast I think.
I was thinking about LST the top colas so the lower ones can reach that height, should I cut the top leaves shadowing the lower future colas?

Fuck. First week of 12-12 and I almost accidentally top this plant. Broke the stem enough to cause it to bleed on one side. Think it will hold/heal?Accidentally broke one side of this stem while attempting LST through a lattice. My idea was, instead of simply topping, to bend the plant downwards into the lattice to keep it down. Problem I'm trying to solve is plants keep growing too close to lights. Thoughts? βοΈ
