now of you train the two that come out to go towards the pot edge , the other nodes can catch up and form even more mains. ideally you should remove node 1 and 2 as well to create a 4-way quad. each arm will form their own tip which can also be held down or topped to create more mains. lots of options. nice start and dont be afraid to try stuff out. they will love you for it. silky smooth has some great examples too. I use this method a lot

Should I defoliate after topping with LST ?I just did my first topping and she took it very well, no signs of stress and actually growing really fast I think.
I was thinking about LST the top colas so the lower ones can reach that height, should I cut the top leaves shadowing the lower future colas?

How to top to make more colas (mainline)I was curious if anyone could help me understand how they train their plant to separate into like 7 or 8 different branches right down at the bottom of the stem. Almost looks like multiple topping on top of each. Any advice? Added a photo for more clarity.

Topping or LST after 1st toppingLast week I topped this little baby, the plant now is growing ok. I noticed that not only the two top side branches are growing a lot, but that the ones on the node under it too.
I would like to make the 4 grow and like that I don't have to top more, is it ok? How can I do it?

Or maybe LST one Plant, let one grow natural ?this is my third ever grow, and i was wondering if its worthy letting a plant grow natural, So far my two first plants i have done LST on, will the yield be impacted a lot when its being grown natural ? What do you think, should i give letting it grow natural a chance or do LST ?
