It looks to me like you did a top/FIM combo. By the looks of it you’ll have 3 total tops grow from there instead of 2 like topping or 4 like FIMIng

This is known as the "Fuck! I missed" technique, or more commonly the FIM technique. If you only remove about half of the top's new growth it will often grow three branches instead of the 2 from a correct topping. If you are pinching I think its pretty easy to do this by accident.

Its a FIMMING win :P This is what you want, you can get more! This is what happens when you just half the middle sprout instead of chopping off entire top.

Topping or LST after 1st toppingLast week I topped this little baby, the plant now is growing ok. I noticed that not only the two top side branches are growing a lot, but that the ones on the node under it too.
