How long after the last flush, do you wait until you chop your plant? Do you let it dry out so the pot is nice and light before you harvest? Or is a little moisture left in the soil ok? Did last flush 48 hrs ago and I'm itching to chop her down, but still slightly damp soil

I don't flush unless I have issues in the medium, end of life I stop feeding and only give water but not to the point it is washing out the pot 5 fold. its dumb. most if not all "evidence" for doing it is not backed by pear review and subject to extreme personal bias. The small ammount of pear reviewd stuff we do have on flushing all boils down to this, does not effect the taste or quality of buds, verified by measuring the contest and percentage of elements in the buds and double blind taste test panel with weed "connoisseurs". In terms of chop. I'd say do it now, they look like they are ready.

Gently remove the plant with roots attached, place plant in rapidly boiling water for 30-45 seconds. This will kill the plant and also close stomata on leafs meaning only moisture will escape through buds, this will slow down drying process dramatically.

tririchomes, pistils and density are the physical cues... not when you chose to flush last. the plant dictates these things. that is the causality of the context.
