Delaying Senesence?

Delay Senescence in cannabis while employing a staggered harvest? Is this possible? I'm thinking about cherry picking my top colas as they are milky and starting to turn to amber. There are also new bud sites that I wish to feed and maximize yield.

In my long experience (40 years), a staggered harvest never works. Just chop the lot and accept it for what it is. Once you remove the top main parts, the plants go into shock, then take forever to grow out the lower smaller buds which never turn out as good as the first pick or even as good a had you picked them slightly early and under mature like when you harvest the whole plant at once. Google "lollipopping cannabis" and you can avoid these issues in future grows.......I am a big fan of it and it makes life a lot easier! You still have 3-4 weeks to go, but I guess you know that already! Also, always clean up/remove any dead fallen leaves, left lying around and rotting makes them easy pickings for pests and diseases. Good housekeeping when growing indoors is one of the "Golden Rules"!

They don't look ready yet. no browning pistils and looks too young. cherry picking may stress the plant out. It is possible to harvest in parts but then drying and curing gets really annoying. Best way to get it all ready is to supplement with under canopy lighting. Helps fatten up them popcorn nugs on the bottom benches. or just pluck em off. Good Luck!
