Germinated Friday, Feb 28, and planted in solo cups the next day. Using coco with perlite. Seedlings are about 5 days old. dropped my lights to 20 inches and they still seem to stretch. No nutes yet. Water only, pH of 5.6-6.1

I would drop your lights to 12 to 15" the giixer 600w is only pulling 70w from the wall. I would look into investing in a lot more light for the 4x4 space. Honestly, if you recently purchased those lights, I would contact amazon and return them. For veg in your space, go with a spider farmer 2000 or equivalent and get another one for flower. If that's a bit out of budget, go with a mars tsw2000. Amazon has a bad problem of chinese led companies lying thru their teeth so you can claim it's not as described. No way will 70watts ever replace 600w. Not trying to sound like a dick, but hoping to save you some cash and heart ache in a few weeks. I'll post some more links and info into your diaries comments.

You need to lower your lights, the plants are trying to reach as far as they can

hello, i think you can go closer with the light. they are looking for light, but its not dramatic atm. In the next tranplant just dig them deeper. give them an airflow to fatten the stms and you can shake them softly every day. So tiny cracks appear and the plant gets stronger. for more Info just hit the reply button. If y setup is new to you its alittle try and error game with the adjustments. if you come to close// if light is to strong your plants " dwarfing " under the light, that means they growing with short internodial distance, if its to weak// to far away plants grow with a big internodial distance. My advise would be watch your girls if they continue to stretch lower the light. ... just watch a few days......

Greenbean 15, not sure if they do have IR. I’ll look into that. I’ll be honest, I got some cheaper ones from Amazon because the reviews were excellent and had pics attached. Thanks for answering my question as well. Much appreciated

Do your LED’s have IR light? I have a friend who was growing without any IR in her LED’s and it turned out her light was the problem. She switched to an LED that I recommended and her plants are thriving now. Without the proper light spectrum, plants will stretch no matter that. I have two 1000w LEDs in a 2x4x5 tent and I can’t get seedlings closer than 36” without them burning from the light. Older more mature plants can get closer with no issues. Some sativa strains will stretch no matter what and so will some autoflowering strains. Being that you planted in coco and perlite and the seedlings are a week old, would recommend adding very small amounts of nutrients since neither of those mediums have any nutrients in it. They don’t seem too terribly stretchy to me just yet, they appear healthy for the most part.
