It has plenty time to go fatter on the middle, without loosing quality.

You could try supercropping each branch . But only if there is still some play left in the branches and they haven't hardened yet. As it can be easy to snap them at this stage . Squeeze the stem and bend down. If no other option than to kill it, dare I say it ? But you could Snip the tops offs 😷

Start hst those branches to tall
