No matter what anyone tells you, 200$ is plenty to get started. There’s a lot to it though so respond to my pm and I can walk you through setting up your grow.

Soil or hydro the choice is yours Bucket and living soil is not much price difference from a bucket air pump and stone. have a look at some grows to help you make that decision there are more than enough peeps to help you out or choose 1 who will help, this avoids confusion. Nutrients Do not think a plethora of different types will be better Simplicity is best Have a happy grow

1 step: internet you can find many tutorials about ... ( https://www.growweedeasy.com/the-basics ) 2 step: ligth for indor, or help if you grow outside . Example www.youtube.com/watch I buy for less 100$ 3 step: pots and good mix of substrate and create a good drainage. 4 step: wind and breeze with computer fans ( cheap in amazon , less 5 $ 5 step: maybe something to camuflage the smell , in some places in the world , better camuflage the smell. 6 step: water love and sun this is my small wing mate . good luky

If you are in the US I can lead you in the direction of great deals on a light. That is where you want to spend most of your budget. I am not sure about other countries with all the import taxes and all that though. You can also build an efficient little hydro system cheap too if you have some basic tools and a little diy experience. Feel free to message me if you have any questions. Good luck!

If you wanna grow indoors. $200CAD would be very tough. A good light can run 300 Cad or more. Don't know if your CAD but you can convert lol.

@BackyardBoogie Hi mate to help you I need some more info Like where will you be growing Outdoors ? Indoors? Do you have some seeds? What season is it where you are . But one thing I can say is that if you are indeed going outdoors then $200 should be plenty enough for some bags of Good soil mix perlite and some basic nutients and supplements .
