Any ideas why the new one (Sapphire Scout and Mysterious Strain) are so tall and thin? What should I do to prevent them collapsing again?

Hi @AlpineGoat the light must be very high and it stretches too fast in proportion as the stalk gains strength. lower your light further, make a small pile with substrate around the stalk until the plant can stand upright, point a fan at them to blow the wind gently so as not to damage them but so that they shake, the more the stalk shakes the more it gains volume and strength. good luck matešŸ€šŸ™šŸ‘

It may be over watering. The plant is growing largely because it has the right ingredients for photosynthesis. In my opinion you're either watering too often or too much. Try cutting the amount of frequency back for a couple of weeks.

Because they are searching for the light , stretching and have not the time to get stronger

Hi my friends :-) This can have a couple of reasons. Maybe the light is too far away? Was the earth too wet for too long? If possible, put a small fan in front of it, this will grow a thicker trunk. I hope I could help you a little :-)

Donā€™t know why some seedlings stretch but no problem transplant to finish pot and bury almost up to the fist leaves. Donā€™t overwater as not to rot before strength sprout roots. Hope this helps alittle.

Instead of pouring water, spray it, so you don't displace the tender roots
