Should I be concerned about the curled tips on some of the leaves. Watering only when the bucket get light and switching over to mostly RO from here on due to nitrogen concerns.

Okay I see it now in your other pics from the diary... it’s a bit of nitrogen toxicity for sure but it’s nothing too concerning. If you’re worried and want to be safe flush/leech the substrate next watering then go for the heavier PK flower nutes It’s a good practice anyhow to flush out lingering salts from veg (specifically nitrogen) in early stages of flower anyhow. Good luck

Hey @M_A_B, if you are moving to RO water it wont really effect nitrogen levels, that would be from your base nutrients. It does look like you are going in to N tox. With RO water you need to make sure you are adding calmag and that you are pHing it after adding calmag. RO water has basically nothing in it apart from water molecules - not only can this strip nutrients from your plants (osmotic action) but you cant ph it without adding calmag to say 150ppm as it can damage your pH meter too - if you tried pHing raw RO water you need to recalibrate your meter. If you are using synthetic nutrients, plain water to runoff for a couple of waterings and see how she is looking, it should calm down quite quickly. Hope that helps :)

I don’t see the curled tips you’re referring to but at this point in flower cutting nitrogen is a good idea but I wouldn’t go straight water unless you’re confident your substrate has plenty of P&K. If not, feed with bloom nutes mainly for the next few weeks. Low N and higher P&K
