Only do 24/7 if they are weak lights. You want 35-40 dli as calculated at diode given typical hanging distances. If you can do it in 18h, 6 extra hours is at best a waste and might hurt the plant.
Might be limited by pot size judging size of plants, or just small-ish autos. But, also hard to guess without dimensions of growing area etc... if not getting 40-60g/sq ft, adjust how you do things. Genetics play a big role. Be kind to yourself if you have a herm or a couple plants that end up larfy while others are fine etc... especially with autos. Even greater variance within a strain.
