Drying Best Practices?

Drying ganja for the first time. Buds are in the dark with temp steady at 70F. Humidity steady at 55%. Trimmed fan leaves, but left all sugar leaves. Plant is stinking like wet grass on the 3rd day of drying. Will this smell break down or am I needing to make some adjustments?

Completely normal the smell is, the first few days the smell is generally pungent. Just make sure there is fresh air coming in and air is circulating. A oscillating fan will do. Smell will only get better as she slowly dries out.

Hi @MountainMatt .yes that smell is still fresh buds, usually from the 3rd day that smell of grass begins to disappear. if you can put a fan blowing a direct wind at them, they dry faster and better. good drying mate đđđȘ

Yea I would say your on the right track! I would let it sit another day and start your dry trimming it will save time in the end! Then clean it up once it drys the rest of the way! Good luck with your harvest

What strain is this? Any guesses?I have grown a bagseed. It's a kind of sativa dominant outdoor strain. Anyone, does it look familiar to you? Any guesses? It has a short distance between the nodes, quite thin leaves, a citric, sweet stem rub and smell, the flowers switched to a deep dark purple.
