Is it possible or even beneficial to do some lst on them?
The internode space is very tight and the stems are not flexible, plus they started preflower.
They are 4 week old autoflowers and I feel like the lower leaves don't get enough light.
YOU don't need to do lst in veg or preflower. Just rotate your plant.
As it starts to stretch. You'll be able to bend the nodes and then do LST defols to get light to bud sites.
You can move some stems but generally it's not needed. And most likely you'll just snap something with them been so tight. The way it looks IS SUPER. You actually want tight inters.
Also. Your substrate is very dry looking.
Don't let it go dry to the point when you feed water comes out the end. This can be done later in heavy flower to a degree (crop steering through drought)..
But as she is so young and heading into a stretch. Make sure NEVER let it run dry. She'll double fluid intake. But rule of thumb is not to see water piss out the end. As if it goes to long. And it only takes an hour of sucking dirt for a plant to start eating itself. And when its doing thst. It's NOT growing. But surviving.
The earlier LST is performed the better it turns out typically. Once stems start getting stiff breakage becomes more of a worry. Autos can get a bit like that in the 3-4 week period but then suddenly open up once that flowering stretch hits them. As long as you have the vertical space and you aren't keeping your light too close I think you'll be ok.
It's always possible to do lst best thing to use in this situation would be bud trainer clips help bend some of them branches out some. The overall goal in the end is optimal light penetration to lower levels. You could also trim some of the bigger fan leaves that are blocking light. In the beginning I was always scared to take anything away but after doing it more and more you realize that it ends up being more beneficial and does more good than harm. Hope this
