Top her off THEN LST?

Growing a tangerine dream auto sheโs a few weeks old and growing nicely. I hear this one can get large, even tho itโs an auto. So I was thinking to top the plant AND then start LST to keep her from getting too big. Does this make sense? Or LST first then top? Thanks!

In my opinion, never top autos.
Lst all you want.
The stress from topping stunts the growth for a while.

I prefer not topping autos(HST) because it stunts the grow th of the plant, and auto flowers already have a short life span. Slowing this growth down during the veg. stage will lead to lower yield in flower.

Rate my LSTThird round of topping.
Trying to bend the branches in the usual way so "pulling down", the "Y split" in the topping sites always break/open.
So I'm trying this way with ropes and engraved sticks to PUSH the branches away from the inside.
What do you think? Alternatives?

General LST questions (how am I doing?)Should I be constantly changing the direction of the tie down on my main stem during LST or should I just be tying down new growth on bud sites? should I defoliate or use thinner ties (Using rubber coated wire) and should I let small growth grow up first or tie it down ASAP?
