alwys keep it simple. Most over-sophisticated things people do is more about stroking their ego than any actual benefit to the plant. A whole shit-load of confirmation bias that morphs into "bro-science" in the mariujana growing sub-culture, lol.
Even LST and such.. doesn't have a huge impact, if at all, depending on how it is done. The canopy size and DLI is the primary thing to worry about. E.g. having ~3 colas per sq ft vs 5-6 per sq ft will not impact yield, all other factors the same. All it'll do is distribute the growth more and you get smaller buds/colas, lol.
Nearly everything is about a goldielocks zone.. not "more is better". So, let the plant tell you what to do. Fix your routine so that next time you don't run into that issue.. take notes.. you need to reflect on a month or more of time to properly adjust fertilization procedures.
