Stem growths or nodules? All info or theories welcome!

One of my strains "The Incredible Bulk" always gets these stringy protrusions. My best guess is that it's like primordial roots due to the plant needing a transplant. Young clones don't have them just older plants of this strain. Any info or theories are welcomed.

root nodules that will air-prune but the fact tehy are so far abvoe teh substrate is weird... indicates high RH where it shouldn't be. It's one thing to see them within first few inches of apical meristem, but higher up is something you should look into... canopy management, environmental control or better circulation. Something is exacerbating it... barring soem weird genetic mutation i've never seen before... I see sicklyleaves all over in the background too. Damage to lower area. Is this an ancient mother plant or something? LOL From this 1 picture it looks like some other issues have been ignored for a long period of time.

Hey pal. So, looking at your diary. And it just being this plant. It's just one of those random things that happen with living things. If it's not broke, not mess with it.. So, if you feel it's not causing any issues, or acting as extensions of some sorts. Then they have a purpose. Leave em be. Interesting though. I'm sure someone has more insight. But. I don't see any issue that would lead me to do anything vast. If it's good and doing ifs job. Then is it an issue. Just a fact of matter. As you said. It's not on the clones, so. Note for interest imo.. Good luck.
