Strange leaf shape

Stress? Could be defoliation stress? I defoliate lightly almost daily or once every 2 days to expose all the nodes. Wondering if that's also delaying flower swelling? Or is it more likely to be heat stress? Had a couple peak at 32°C in the past days-now dialed it in back to 24°C

Yeah just a funky leaf, plants are gonna only be stressed from mass defoliations, could be a vpd thing as well just make sure you got your fans on keep that airflow up and you’re good to go👏👏

it can be genetics if it happens naturally and when all other things are competently done, but it can also be a sign of poor nutritional balance. stress can do weird things too. e.g. you bend a plant over and all of a sudden you revert back to 3-5-fingered leaves on new growth at times... doesn't always happen but can. After topping, my leaves usually get set back in their finger-progression, too. plants that look overfed or some imbalance often have funky shaped leaves.. missing the 2 small ones near petiole or asymmetrical etc.. if the plant is suprmely healthy and unmolested (even light training), then it's likely just genetics. Cell differentiation -- your liver doesn't pump blood, right? Leaves evolved to absorb light. Sex organs evolved to facilitate reproduction. Do not cut off leaves to shine light on bud sites. I realize this is something repeated a lot by growers, but it is not helpful. Not only do leaves absorb light, they are storage facilitis and also the lungs. If you feel skeptical, thnk about what is the limitingn factor - carbon from cO2. Limiting the limiting factor even further by reducing leaf surface area is not helpful. shouldn't need a biology degree to understand that.

Weird leaves are a pretty nomal event, it is not related to heat or stress, they are just weird leaves...........nothing more, nothing less. Constant defoliation is bad. Your plant is investing a lot of energy and time growing them....why remove them constantly?? If she would not need them, she would not grow them in the first place! Yes you are delaying flowering by over defoliating. Less leaves = less energy being made = less growth.........it is that simple! Also, by constantly defoliating, you are upsetting the plants hormonal balance, increasing the risk of hermaphroditism. "Bud sites" do not need direct light to grow flowers, just like how fruit does not only grow on the sunny side of trees. What the "bud sites" do need though, are the leaves to be able to make the energy required to grow the buds! 32 degrees C is nothing that is going to cause any issues, where I live we get many days of 45 degrees C most summers outdoors and I do not get any issues with my plants...........watering correctly is essential though!

32 is too high temp. Plant look reali healthy I think only temp is the problem. Good luck

Leaf shape and size are generally dictated by the amount of available light, but that's overkill, possible you had a light leak just as flowers were about to appear? Looks like a stress response for sure, hard to put a finger on any individual trigger, it is most likely a sum of all stresses combined, hard to say. Some females are just whiny. Good luck!

I don't think you want to be removing leaves that often. leaves = energy = growth, so a bit of a net negative removing them. There are reasons to remove leaves but its more for allowing airflow into the plant but I don't see this as a big problem for your plant ATM. 32c is a bit warm at 50%RH, If you can lower it down to 28c max that would be better glad to see it back down to 24c now. Other note, not all leaves grow perfect, and I would not focus on it to much, just aim for some better environmentals and see how she does and try not to pluck, once a week removing the dead ones is fine.

Yeah its more likely to be the heat but that's sorted now and the plant looks on point. Nice job... I find there are better times to pluck her but everyone has there own tek... I feel like plucking every few days is keeping her in a state of adjustments and maybe have a constant stress this way. Getting rid of a bunch after the stretch has always shown results for me.. Like I said everyone has different tek so what works for me might jot work for you etc... Hope this helps...

Your high temp and 50% rh could have slowed her down a fraction, now you dialed in your temp she should carry on like before.

I wouldn't necessarily pick leaves quite that often, though obviously your using a light hand or your plants would be naked by now lol. I like to hit them right before and right after the stretch, then maybe a little maintenance picking every now and then on the really bushy ones. I don't think your plant is stressed or anything, I wouldn't trip on that leaf. 32C isn't really that hot, especially in veg, though if you start creeping above that you might wanna consider your options.

Hello, I also remove the leaves every 2 to 3 days so that the shoots can get better light. I do this during flowering until shortly before harvest. The temperatures are more of a problem and shouldn't be over 25 degrees Celsius. Try to control this and you can carry on removing the leaves without worrying. But it is clear that removing the leaves also leads to a little stress.
