Most growers tend not to mix them. In theory there's no reason saying you can't. It may stress your plants though. If you have a look at lighting experiments on yt. You may find your answer.

LED light distanceHey guys I'm kind of new to growing only been doing it for a little over a year. My girls grow really well they just don't get very tall I'm thinking it's because my lights are too close. Is this correct? Distance is 9 inches above canopy in week 6 growing critical 2.0 autos.

T5 vs. LED for veg?So I have a T5 light, and I’ve used it to veg quite a bit, and it does really well. My question is, should I use the T5 in just the seedling phase, then use LED for veg and flower? Or will the T5 give me good results throughout the veg cycle?Week 3

Can a 1000w LED grow light be closer than 60cm (24") to a seedling?Different sources are saying: 1000w LED light should not be closer to a seedling than 60-75cm (24"-30"). The seedling should be getting 5000-7000 lux, 100-300 PAR (PPFD 18h) and 12-20 DLI.
Question: Can I put the light closer at ~40cm, dimmed to match the needed lux, par and dli

When to flip LED's 'bloom' switch on?When's the best time to flip the 'bloom' switch on my LED with an auto?
Should it be at the first sign of pistils or is there a better time to do so?
I have already flipped the switch for this plant and kept photo-period the same, looking for info for next grow.
