Hey guys I’m wanting to get a mars hydro ts-1000...

Honestly, I'm not sure why you're deadset on a Mars fixture. I haven't done the reading on it myself but there's tons of options out there for grow lights. If you're looking at quantum tech. then I would agree thats probably the best way to go right now. For a 150W fixture however, $200 price tag is a little steep and I think you could source similar or better performing fixtures for slightly less money (this is probably due to Mars being a well known brand). Your other alternatives that you may wish to consider would be something like a Spider Farm S2000 - more power, slightly lower profile and generally the same components. I just bought a 1000 model and am very please and impressed with its performance to date. Similarly you can find the same component technology in still lower priced fixtures if you stray from a name brand. QB is definitely where it's at right now tech. wise though so you're on the right track. If you're not shy I would suggest you reach out to @silverback_guerilla - he's a good dude, always willing to help anyone who asks, and is pretty much the authority on all things cannabis lighting. Yes, sadly my best suggestion to your grow question is to ask another grower.... buts it's still the most honest and best answer you'll find on this forum😉 good luck with whatever you choose!👍
